Ninety-five percent of
women who have had abortions do not regret the decision to terminate their
pregnancies, according to a study published last week in the multidisciplinary
academic journal PLOS ONE. This is one of those topics that I don’t agree with,
ABORTION. I know that abortion is a decision the mother to be has to make whether
it may be the right one or the wrong one. I don’t believe women should have an
abortion just because to me they are killing someone. I understand that there
are circumstances that may prevent some women to have children like financial
reasons or medical reasons, and that’s understandable but having an abortion
because it’s “not the right time” or “It was an accident and I don’t want it”
is not an excuse. If you didn’t want it or if it’s not the right time then why didn’t
you use protection, if this is the case then you shouldn’t be having
unprotected sex. To me abortion is not an option, if you’re having sex than you
should take responsibility of the consequences, And if you don’t want the
child, I’m pretty sure that there’s a lot of people out there that can’t have
kids of their own and are willing to adopt them.
